I am a composer of contemporary chamber music.

I have been active as a composer, performer, and educator working in many genres of music including orchestral, chamber, theater, and popular forms. I have performed extensively as a conductor, trumpet player, electric bass player, and vocalist in diverse situations. As an educator, I have presented courses, lectures, and individual instruction in music composition, music history, music appreciation, popular music production, trumpet, and electric bass.

The driving force in my contemporary chamber music compositions is to meld the varied sounds, rhythms, and emotions gathered from a life as a musical vagabond. I tend to write for traditional chamber music instrument combinations.

I have provided a variety of sound files and commentary of my work in the different genres. I have also included some links to some of my other interests/work.
